Qlooto

How it works

Answers from people who bought there — and how we know they did

Qlooto is a place to ask about homes in Delhi NCR and hear from people who actually live or bought in the project. Nobody pays to be here: no developer, no broker, no ads for either.

AskAbout a project, a sector or a whole neighbourhoodTag projects with @ so everyone following them sees it.

How we check a buyer

An owner uploads one document that shows their purchase — an allotment letter, a builder-buyer agreement, a payment receipt. We read the few details we need (the project, the unit type) and delete the document straight away, in the same step. It is never stored, and never shown to anyone.

A person on our team then approves or declines the check. Once approved, that owner’s answers in their project carry a Verified buyer badge, and they can post site updates. Their name stays a pseudonym — other members never see who they are.

Why dates look vague

A resident who posts something critical about their building shouldn’t be identifiable by the exact minute they posted. So every post shows only “today” or “3 days ago”, with a small random delay, and never the time of day.

The trust score

A project’s trust score out of 10 comes only from verified owners’ site updates — construction progress, quality, the builder’s communication. It doesn’t appear until enough different owners have reported, and money can’t move it. The full method →

“Would you consider buying here?” is separate: any member can vote, and it’s always labelled as members’ view, never the trust score.

News — metro lines, roads, airports

Infrastructure moves prices. Qlooto’s news desks post what’s been announced or approved near you — a headline, a short summary in their own words and a link to the source — and members discuss what it means for the area. Anyone can send a tip.

Developers and brokers

Developers can’t pay to appear, rank or remove anything. A developer can be given one narrow right: to reply publicly, marked as the developer, on conversations about its own projects. Brokers get no special access at all.
